Blood on the Prairie Rose
A past that follows.
A life to claim.
Manuscript in developmentFive hundred dollars brings Lilith Warbird onto Jericho Slade’s trail. What she finds could cost her far more.
After losing her family, Lilith has learned to survive by tracking wanted men across the frontier. But Slade is more than a name on a bounty poster. Something about him reaches into the past she cannot escape—and following him leads straight into an ambush.
Forced into an uneasy alliance with her quarry, Lilith follows a trail toward the Night Riders, a shadowy network with lawmen and judges in its pocket. In Deadwood Gulch, answers come with a price, and a familiar face threatens to turn the hunt into something dangerously personal.
With trust scarce and old wounds reopening, Lilith must decide how far she will follow her need for vengeance—and whether the man she came to capture can be trusted at her side.

Whiskey, Smoke, and a Wanted Poster
The air hung thick with the mingled scents of sweat, cheap whiskey, and desperation – a heady perfume that clung to The Rusty Spur like a shroud. The saloon pulsed with a life of its own, a cacophony of drunken laughter, clinking glasses, and the off-key warbling of a weary piano player battling a tune out of a battered upright. Lilith, feeling the familiar itch of restless energy under her skin, leaned against the bar, her senses alight.
She took a long pull from her beer, the cool liquid a welcome counterpoint to the stifling heat of the saloon. Her eyes, sharp as a hawk’s, scanned the room, taking in the usual cast of characters: grizzled prospectors with their dreams turned to dust, cowboys with six-shooters strapped low on their hips, and women with painted smiles and eyes that held a lifetime of hard-won wisdom.
